Order process.
Select CD or DVD
Enter Quantity, Printing type, Packaging and Other printing options and shipping.
Next select how you will be sending your CD or DVD content. Because of the large file sizes for DVD it is recommended that you mail your DVD master to us.
Uploading files.
There are several options for sending your files. Email, Website Upload, FTP or other file sending options.
Email: file(s) under 12 MB can be emailed to info@discountdupes.com (if sending multiple files please use a Zip Utility or Stuffit
Website upload:
If you have a disc that is under 50 Mb you can upload your files through your web browser using our website upload. Select this option when placing your order. After checkout you will be emailed an ordered confirmation including an ID# to enter to access the upload screen.
FTP:
FTP option is best when uploading multiple files including WAV and MP3 Files or multiple data files like PDFs. After checkout you will be emailed an order confirmation containg the settings to access our FTP server.
Software requirements for FTP access. In order to gain access to our FTP site you will need an FTP program like FTP Explorer, Fetch or the FireFTP plugin for Firefox. Direct browser access is no longer supported.
Other file sending options
Another option in transferring large files is to use a file sharing website. Here are the sites we recommend. DropBox.com and yousendit.com
Preparing your files for electronic transfer.
The safest and easiest option is to create a disc image or ISO file of your disc. You can use a CD burning program like Nero or Toast to create an ISO Image.
If sending multiple files it is best to compress your files into a Zip or Stuffit file folder
Audio Formats:
We can burn your audio files to CD audio format. We can accept MP3, WAV, AIFF and M4A files. When ripping your audio from a CD master use the setting with the least compression or loss.
Turn time and shipping time:
Most orders are complete in about 1-3 Days. We are centrally located in the U.S. (Kansas City, MO) while ground shipping time is around 2-3 days to most areas of the US Ground shipments to Upper New England including Maryland and Delaware require 4 days.
